Our Mission
Dr. Marcus A. Platz is a native of Ohioville Borough in Beaver County who began practicing Chiropractic in May 2016 after graduating from Sherman College of Chiropractic in South Carolina. While attending Penn State University and Sherman of Chiropractic, Dr. Marcus was a teaching assistant in anatomy and biology, graduating with a Bachelor’s in Biology with distinction and as a Doctor of Chiropractic.
During his time as an Emergency Medical Technician, Marcus developed a love for helping others in need, and a desire to see those in distress return to their optimum health. He is grateful for his experience in athletics and emergency medicine, as it has exposed him to a full spectrum of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Throughout his clinical training, Dr. Marcus contributed to the patient education health program, focusing heavily on helping patients understand the body’s innate potential.
- Dr. Marcus married his wife Lauren in 2020, and have a little boy who is a ball of joy and keeps them busy.
- Marcus enjoys playing golf, walking his dog, and is an avid hunter and outdoorsman.
- Dr. Marcus’s dream is to care for his home community in Beaver County, and couldn’t be more excited to practice so close to home.
